Why Solar

As you can notice, more and more people are going Solar. It not only will help to save the planet, but also it will lower or eliminate your electricity bills, raise the property cost, and with the energy storage solutions will give you peace of mind during the outages. The solar system warranty is 25-30 years, and the system will proceed to work even after that period of time. Throughout the 25-30 years, your system will pay off itself and will even save you 10-30K in energy bills only. The Solar industry is growing fast, while the prices on the going solar are dramatically falling. In 2020 the price of solar declined up to 70% and reached the all-time minimum. In early 2019, the U.S. surpassed 2 million solar system installations. This milestone comes just three years after the industry completed its 1 millionth installation, a feat that took 40 years to accomplish. Most notably, the industry is projected to hit 4 million installations in 2023, illustrating solar’s rapid pace as the fastest-growing energy resource in the world. By 2030, the solar energy industry is expected to quadruple from its current size.

In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic negatively impacted many industries, but not the solar industry. According to SEIA, solar panel installations shot up 43% (19.2 gigawatts of output) over 2019, and in the fourth quarter alone, the US added 8 gigawatts (GW) of solar energy to the grid – a world record! To put this in perspective, one GW is enough to power roughly 190,000 homes.
